Thrift

Folkestone, UK based rock band Thrift, got in contact with me to produce five covers for their LP cover. Their idea was for the cover to represent the theme of 3/5th. By having three faces facing forward and two looking away. With the face rotating.

Additional Promotional
Material

From looking at examples of other album artwork Thrift was interested in. It gave me the opportunity to explore other mediums and styles.

Using the left over paint from my mural. I let the paint drip down onto cardboard. I twisted and turned the cardboard to create different patterns. Through using Adobe Photoshop, I highlighted and drew on top of the paint.

Repetitive Shapes

One aspect that I was keen to explore was the repetition of shapes to contrast again the flow of paint. This was inspired by psychedelic art of the sixties.

Montony

Thrift commissioned me to produce a cover for a LP called Monotony. Their idea was to have a repetitious pattern as a metaphor for the song title.
